If you haven’t been there yet, Venice is a place to go this summer. Venice is a city that you can call magical, romantic, Italian Paris. It’s built on more than 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. There’s no roads, just canals, which is why everything is happening so slow here. There’s lots of must see attractions, but besides the architecture, museums & galleries, Venice is something special also because it’s Biennale – this year the 57th one.
The most popular art show everybody talks about this year is Damien Hirst’s “Treasures From the Wreck of the Unbelievable”. The art show took place in two museums, where you can see 189 artworks which you’ll watch with open mouth. This project took the artist more than 10 years of work. The exhibition is telling the story of the ancient wreck of a vast ship, the ‘Unbelievable’ and presents what was discovered of its precious cargo.
There’s some pictures about our Venice weekend escape, where we went to test the prototype of our new suede crossbody bag that will be available to shop this fall.
Enjoy the images and if you’ll decide to visit Venice and have some questions about the trip, we’re here to help you.
